Introducing: MsKassarole!

Welcome to my vlog! I don’t know if finally seeing what I look and sound like is a suprise or disappointment, but this is me. I finally got around to making a video, even though I created the channel for it last month [talk about counting your chickens before they hatch]. I know this is just an intro and nothing special but I felt like I want you guys to know a little bit about me before I jump into my vlog [I did the same when I first started this blog] so there you go. I guess I’ll explain things a bit further, starting with my interests.

Books:

I love to read, I always have and I always will. The types of books that I read vary, but they all tend to center around the supernatural. I’ve enjoyed books about fairies, vampires [no, I don’t like Twilight…anymore. Don’t judge me, I cringe at the memories of my former obsession], werewolves, mutants, elves, fallen angels, the list goes on and on. However, I’ve also read my fair share of what I like to call ‘shallow books’. A few book series that fall under this list would be The Clique, A-List, and Gossip Girl novels. You know, books about snobby rich girls who spend the entire book series whining about their frivolous problems. Entertaining? Yes. Important to the big picture that is life? No, but who cares?

Movies:

Watching movies is probably my favorite way to spend a lazy day. I like all types of genres for movies too: romantic comedies, thriller, gore, comedy, action, pretty much anything but horror. I don’t watch those, I hide behind a pillow and scream bloody murder. I’ve watched movies of all sorts from around the 70s or 80s to now. The 80s are my favorite time period for movies, probably because the 80s are my favorite time period in general. Oh what I would give to have been a young adult in the 80s. -sigh-

Asia:

Okay, I am fascinated by Asia, mainly Japan [for its manga and anime] and South Korea [for its everything]. A few manga that I have read are Kitchen Princess, Hollow Fields, Fruits Basket, Chibi Vampire, Black Cat, Godchild and many more. I’ve seen less anime than I’ve read manga, but I have seen Ouran High School Host Club, Clannad, Chobits, Vampire Knight,  Black Butler and probably a couple of more that I’m forgetting. As for South Korea, I can’t get enough kpop or kdramas. My best friend got me into kpop in 2009 with 2NE1’s “Fire”. Ever since that song I’ve been spiralling deeper and deeper into an unhealthy obsession with kpop and all that relates to the country. I’ll do a video or two with my favorite kpop groups and kdramas.

So that’s it with my interests, if you share one with me and want to discuss it, or suggest something you think I might like, I could then review it and maybe give you a little shout out for the help.

As I said in the video, this is an ‘everything under the sun’ vlog and I’ll end up talking about anything that I think of; not just beauty, fashion, cooking, health and fitness, DIY projects etc. I’m a free spirit and I’ll just see where the winds of my mind take me. Also, I know that if I create a schedule, I won’t stick to it so I’m not even going to try. Sorry, I’m just not that organized.

So that concludes this video. If you have any suggestions about videos you’d like to see or anything you’d want me to discuss, leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do. Thank you so much for watching and reading this, I hope we can have a lot of fun together!

[p.s. sorry for the abrubt ending, I was trying to edit out when I turned off the camera and that’s the smoothest I could get the ending. I’ll get better, promise.]
